Planner reports mobility‑plan draft and state approval of Flagler Beach comprehensive plan

At the end of the Feb. 3 meeting, city planner Lupita gave a brief verbal report to the Planning & Architectural Review Board.
Lupita said she will forward a draft of the city’s mobility plan and a list of pending state legislative bills that may affect local planning. She noted that the city’s comprehensive plan has been approved by the state, describing Flagler Beach as among the few municipalities in the region with an up‑to‑date plan and said staff will update mapping and forward materials to the board for review.
Lupita also said she will pursue a planning‑board training workshop coordinated with the Florida chapter of the American Planning Association to help new board members and review recent legislative changes that could affect board decisions.
