Following a brief closed session under Wisconsin Statute 19.85(1)(e) to discuss the possible sale of public property, the Common Council approved a sale agreement with Washington County for the City of West Bend’s portion of the UWWC campus.
Staff (Ian) recommended approval contingent on recording of a certified survey map (CSM) and required utility easements. The motion authorized the City Administrator to finalize negotiations and execute final documents once the two items are recorded. Council approved the contingent sale by voice vote.
Council emphasized the contingent nature of the approval: closing and finalization depend on satisfactory recording of the CSM and easements. Staff did not disclose additional sale terms on the public record when reconvening in open session.
