Rebecca Pugh was introduced as a new hire in the program; Speaker 4 noted she started that day. A board question asked whether federal government shutdowns would affect the program; Speaker 4 said no, because Nurse Family Partnership funding comes through the Master Tobacco Settlement rather than direct federal appropriations.
No formal budget vote or action was recorded in the workshop; Speaker 4 provided the continuation application and described program line items. Commissioners asked few questions and accepted the presentation.
The continuation application will proceed as a routine grant-year submission for FY 26-27.
