Citrus Heights panel approves Sam’s Club fuel-station expansion at Greenback Lane

The Citrus Heights Planning Commission on Sept. 9 approved a use-permit modification for a Sam’s Club fuel station at 7147 Greenback Lane that will add two pump islands, extend the existing canopy and close a Fountain Square Drive driveway.
Associate planner Stephanie Louie told commissioners the project “will help reduce queuing and backup within the site, particularly during peak fueling hours.” The proposal also includes landscaping, paving, restriping and a lot-line adjustment required as a condition of approval.
