Staff clarified that re‑noticing is not legally required for a continuance to a date‑certain but may be done as outreach courtesy.
In separate announcements, public works staff reported that the county will install decorative arches on Rancho California Road near Butterfield Stage Road, requiring two overnight closures (10 p.m.–5 a.m.) on Monday and Tuesday nights; lanes will reopen each morning. Staff said the county and the city will coordinate social media outreach. Additional daytime on‑ramp closures related to Smart Freeway paving work are expected in December; dates will be announced in the city manager’s updates.
