The Dining Room Subcommittee of the City of San Clemente reviewed an amendment (PHP26019) on Jan. 28 that would add two tenant wall signs to the multi-tenant building at 100–110 Avenida La Pata, and recommended that staff process the change administratively rather than hold a public hearing.
City staff told the subcommittee the project site is an approximately 8.9-acre lot with an 88,070-square-foot, two-story building that currently hosts 24 Hour Fitness and other commercial tenants. The amendment requests two halo-lit channel-letter wall signs (proposed signs 6 and 7) similar in design and materials to existing wall signs. "Staff supports the sign we just proposed," a city staff presenter said during the packet review.
