Jennings County recognizes JCHS girls tennis sectional champions

Several players and seniors were named with individual records and honors: Cadence Lohman (17‑4 at No. 1 singles; All‑HHC, All‑District, All‑State honorable mention), Mia Silvey (15‑6 at No. 2 singles; All‑HHC), Grace McBride (18‑3 at No. 3 singles; All‑HHC honorable mention) and doubles recognitions for Gabby Moran and Sofia Lucas. Coach Darren Brown was acknowledged in the meeting.
Board members applauded the team and offered brief remarks of appreciation; refreshments were provided. The recognition required no board action and preceded routine business.
