On the Sheldon/Whiteman (transcript spelling) watershed, staff reported a maintenance-account balance of $2,457.78 and an owed balance of $1,673.05 to the GDIF due to prior large maintenance work; the board approved repayment to replenish the GDIF by recorded vote (3-0).
Staff also provided an open-ditch update: the Pelling project (Bridal Hours) is nearly complete, Little Potato Creek brush removal is nearing completion and is expected to show drainage improvement this spring, and work on Brush Creek and other projects is in progress with coordination among contractors (including Extreme Excavating/Newcomb) and landowners.
