Vigo County Drainage Board elects Blair Roberts president, Evan Miller vice president

The Vigo County Drainage Board on Feb. 2 elected Blair Roberts as president and Evan Miller as vice president for the year, following nominations and voice votes.
The board’s presiding speaker opened nominations for the two officer posts, after stating this was the board’s first meeting of the year and that officers would be elected. “I nominate Blair Roberts for president,” the presiding speaker said. The nomination was seconded and the board voted in favor by voice.
The presiding speaker then solicited nominations for vice president. “I nominate Evan Miller,” a member said; the nomination was seconded and the board approved the choice by voice vote.
Minutes from the prior meeting were provided to members and, after no corrections were offered, a motion to accept the minutes was moved, seconded and approved.
The board concluded its formal business and adjourned; its next meeting is scheduled for April 6, 2026.
