Consultants from Dudek summarized outreach and analysis conducted this year, saying the process engaged roughly 500 active participants across online and in‑person activities and a statistically valid multimode survey of about 300 residents. The outreach showed residents prize downtown’s historic, small‑town character and want more plazas, shade trees and family‑oriented amenities. “We heard loud and clear that San Fernando is a tight‑knit community that values its small‑scale, walkable downtown,” consultant Gaurav Srivastava said during the presentation.
