MCPS reviews county executive CIP recommendation; no immediate changes recommended

Adnan Mamoun, deputy chief of facilities management for Montgomery County Public Schools, told the Fiscal Management Committee on Jan. 28 that MCPS is reviewing the county executive's January recommendation for the capital improvements program. He said staff are comparing the county executive's proposal with the district's requested projects and finishing an analysis.
Mamoun told the committee that at this point staff have not identified recommended changes but will schedule work sessions if analysis indicates that board-level discussion and adjustments are needed. He said staff have met with county budget staff as part of the review process and will keep the board updated.
Committee members were thanked for the update and staff noted they will return with recommendations if changes are necessary.
