Council adopts development agreements for Cashman and Grant Sawyer; refers new bond and redevelopment bills to committee

The council also heard readings of new bills (2026-4 through 2026-8) covering an amendment to municipal code provisions on compensation for alternate municipal judges, an amended redevelopment plan for Redevelopment Area 1, and multiple bond authorizations (including refunding bonds and general obligation limited tax medium-term bonds for recreational and building projects). The new bills were assigned to the recommending committee for consideration on Feb. 17, 2026.
