Commission members debated timing and the January submission window, and decided to authorize a written correspondence to Carrie Rogers requesting the commission be allowed to discuss recommendations at the February meeting and specifically noting interest in state spay/neuter funding and veterinary telehealth. The motion authorized staff to draft and send the letter; it did not finalize specific legislative recommendations. The motion passed unanimously.
