Joliet manager lists major contract awards and council votes to enter closed session

At the end of the public portion of the meeting the council moved and seconded to enter closed session to discuss personnel, collective bargaining, land acquisition/conveyance and pending or threatened litigation. The clerk called the roll; recorded votes were "Aye" from Councilman Cardenas, Councilman Clement, Councilman Hugg, Councilman Moreno, Councilman Mudrin, Councilman McQuillman, Councilman Bridal and Mayor Darcy. The chair announced the motion carried and the meeting moved to closed session.
