Under miscellaneous business, the mayor requested executive session for contract negotiations under code 121.22(G)(4). A motion to enter executive session was made by Mister Hunker and seconded by Mister Schramm; the roll-call vote recorded 'Yes' votes and council entered executive session.
After returning from executive session, Mister Hunker moved to give the administration approval to go forward on a pool in the recreation center. The motion was seconded and carried by roll call with recorded 'Yes' votes from council members present.
The meeting concluded with a motion to adjourn, seconded by Reverend Agnew, and the council adjourned by voice vote.
What happens next: The administration was authorized to proceed on the rec-center pool; council will continue routine oversight of financial reports and follow up on items discussed in executive session as appropriate.
