The Madison County Board of Commissioners approved multiple routine resolutions during its Feb. 3 meeting.
Amy Rees, clerk to the board, presented a resolution increasing appropriations for the 2024 Community Development Block Grant allocation (Resolution 148.26); the board approved it by roll call. The board also approved a commercial lease with the Madison–Champaign Educational Service Center (Resolution 149.26) after brief discussion about language relating to an option to purchase. The board approved an engagement letter with Crossroads Community Planning LLC for planning and zoning technical services (Resolution 150.26). On a separate item, the board authorized publication of a legal notice and solicitation of sealed bids for process service services for the Department of Job and Family Services (Resolution 151.26), presented on behalf of Ronald Bruno.
All listed resolutions were moved, seconded and approved by roll call during the meeting. No resolutions were tabled or failed at the Feb. 3 session.
