A point-of-sale subscription and credit-card-processing fee contract with Shift4 Payments LLC was approved for up to $42,890.50. Equipment International Limited was approved for laundry-equipment repair and parts not to exceed $23,750.
Grant and appropriation items included two increases for the Illinois Home Weatherization Assistance Program: a Department of Energy grant increase from $638,116 to $900,819 (an increase of $262,750) and an HHS-related increase of $258,511 to bring the HHS-funded program total to $1,232,976. The committee approved these appropriations by voice vote.
Voting notes: Most items were approved by voice vote. The Environmental Consulting Group Inc. contract for asbestos testing (not to exceed $22,925) was approved after a roll-call vote in which members recorded 'Aye.'
