Council approves master service agreement with QuadMed for shared employee clinic

Sheboygan aldermen approved Resolution No. 1602526 authorizing city officials to execute a master service agreement with QuadMed LLC, Sheboygan County, the Sheboygan Area School District and the Town of Sheboygan for a shared employee health clinic.
City Attorney explained QuadMed began providing services effective Feb. 1 and staff requested suspension of the rules because the contract negotiations spanned multiple parties and time was short. The attorney said services remained the same and most service providers transitioned from the prior operator (Solidaritas) to QuadMed; only one provider retired unrelated to the transition.
Council approved the agreement by roll call (9 ayes). City officials said they hope QuadMed will allow the clinic to continue and grow; no contract dollar amounts were discussed on the record.
