Staff also announced an all‑day strategic planning session with the council this Friday, open to the public, to align staff work plans for 2026. In addition, staff said there will be a special flood board meeting next Wednesday at 6:30 p.m. at the Cove School to review recent flood events and discuss response, recovery and long‑term adaptation planning; committee members were invited to attend and report back.
Committee members asked for an update on public EV charger usage; staff said comparable benchmarking with other jurisdictions is limited because many use ChargePoint and do not publish matching metrics. Staff offered to follow up on data availability and to organize presentations from county partners on waste and related topics on request.
