Clayton zoning board appoints 2026 officers, defers minutes amid absences

The Clayton Board of Zoning Appeals made several organizational appointments at its Feb. 3 meeting. Board members voted to appoint Mister Madwell as chair for 2026, Bert Baron as vice chair and Barb Sim as board secretary. Each appointment was moved, seconded and carried by members present.
Director of Development Colin Carville opened the meeting and said one or more regular members were absent, so the board would defer approval of minutes until a future meeting. Carville also administered the required oath for anyone who planned to give sworn testimony during the hearing.
Roll call responses recorded Mister Perrin, Mister Greer and Mister Petrovsky as present. The board then proceeded to the sole item of new business. After appointing officers and completing the hearing, a motion to adjourn was made and carried.
