“We’re looking at providing 2,500 at‑risk youth with in‑depth, weekly intensive training on how to navigate online and social media hazards,” McFarland said, adding that prior general fund support had enabled broader assemblies that reached more students and that 98% of students responding to the club’s surveys reported favorable outcomes and positive attitude changes.
Senator Stratton closed the presentation and offered to answer questions; no committee action was taken during the hearing.
