The City of Chaska council met Feb. 2, 2026, approved consent items, confirmed multiple commission appointments and approved the bills on the agenda before adjourning. During the action portion, the council approved appointments recommended after prior work sessions for the Planning Commission, Parks and Recreation Commission, Human Rights Commission and Heritage Preservation Commission. Planning Commission appointments approved were Garrett Campbell, John Purdy, Sri Raghavan Raghavandura, Tess Michael Michalitz and Matthew Ryberg. The meeting adjourned after a motion by Council Member Hatfield, seconded by Council Member Benesch.
