The council voted to award a two-year grounds maintenance contract for city facilities to Earth First Landscapes LLC (Katy) for $42,651.37 annually (total $85,302.74) and a separate two-year rights-of-way mowing contract to Maldonado Nursery and Landscaping Inc. (Houston) for $130,760.42 annually (total $261,520.84). Council also approved a $426,925 construction contract with Neary Construction LLC (Houston) for the Pine Meadows drainage improvement project; the total project cost is $586,164 when prior engineering and design services ($95,200, from resolution 16-82) are included.
