Clerk asks community for ADA‑compliant Jamestown and Washam polling sites before April advertising deadline

Swinson said the county must advertise any new polling locations beginning in April and hopes to have sites secured by the end of March so voters are properly notified.
In public comment, Swinson said several candidate sites visited so far failed to meet ADA, parking and separate‑room requirements. She noted the county might temporarily direct Jamestown voters to the nearest existing site or the Green River Library if a new site cannot be finalized in time for upcoming elections; commissioners pledged to spread the word and offered assistance locating accessible buildings.
