Summary
BCS Management told commissioners it will hold five public listening sessions in March and run an online survey through March 19 to gather input for the Exit 255 economic development area; analysis is scheduled to begin the week after March 12.
Chris, representing BCS Management, told commissioners that the firm completed planning for public engagement tied to the Exit 255 economic growth area in Grant County’s comprehensive plan and booked five listening events to gather community input.
He said the kickoff will be March 2 at the Gas City Performing Arts Center (6 p.m.), followed by March 5 at the Fallerton Lions Club (6–7:30 p.m.), a Saturday morning session at Upland Park (Upland Community Building) at 10 a.m., March 9 at the Matthews Lions Club (6 p.m.), and March 12 at the Fairmount Shelter House (6 p.m.). Chris said the public can also complete a Google form survey; responses will be accepted through March 19 and analysis will begin the week after March 12 so results can be presented by March.
Commissioners had no questions about the outreach plan and thanked BCS Management for the schedule. The sessions are open to the public and will include both spoken public comment and an option to submit the survey anonymously online.
