Commissioners table GIS shapefile request from Marion Land Trust as county fees are reviewed; courtroom AV upgrades continue

An IT staff member told commissioners that Marion Land Trust requested GIS shapefiles for planned downtown work and that the county is updating its fee schedule for such requests. Commissioners voted to table the request until staff can return with a clear fee policy.
The IT representative also reported progress on courtroom audiovisual upgrades: three of five courtrooms are completed and the remaining installations (Superior Court 1 and juvenile court) are scheduled for the coming week to enable Zoom rooms and improved remote access.
Commissioners asked staff to return with a recommended fee schedule and to ensure vendor and procedural documentation is ready before releasing shapefiles. The item was tabled at the Feb. 2 meeting; no files were released pending the fee determination.
