Mayor Bernie Dardis presented and signed an official proclamation on Feb. 2 recognizing the 100th anniversary of Scouting America Troop 213, chartered by Faith and Journey Lutheran Church in West Fargo and established in 1926.
In the proclamation, Dardis cited the scouting movement’s role in building character, citizenship and leadership and thanked volunteer leaders, parents and the scouts for service to the community.
