Food-service contract amendment: Administration requested and the board approved an emergency one-year contract amendment with Quest Food Service to raise meal rates for the remainder of the 2022–23 school year (presented increases: 12.8% for lunch, ~8.5% for breakfast). Administration said the estimated budgetary impact through the end of the year is approximately $16,000 and emphasized that the change does not raise prices for students; it adjusts the district's reimbursement/payment arrangement with the vendor.
Copiers and service agreement: The board approved purchase of 46 Konica Minolta multifunction devices for $241,527 and a five-year service agreement that will bill on a per-page basis (service costs will vary with usage). Administration said replacement is within the approved budget and recommended ownership rather than extended leases to manage long-term maintenance costs.
Office furniture: The board approved an award through the Sourcewell cooperative to Lowry McDonald Company for office furniture at two elementary schools and ECC reorganization in the sum of $69,000.
Votes: Each action item was moved, seconded and approved by voice vote during the meeting; the board recorded "Aye" on each motion with no recorded oppositions on the public record.
