Judge Tammy Long Hayward presided over the State Court of Clayton County jail calendar on Feb. 3, 2026, accepting pleas and imposing sentences or suspended balances in multiple cases ranging from probation revocation to family-violence and theft charges.
The calendar opened with attorneys confirming readiness; the court then addressed a probation revocation for Eddie Conrad Adams. Probation (Miss Chang) recommended revocation of the remaining 1 month and 28 days because Adams repeatedly failed to report and missed drug screens. Defense attorney Owen Lynch told the court Adams had financial difficulties and had turned himself in. Judge Hayward ordered Adams to serve the balance of probation in the county jail — 1 month and 28 days with credit for time served — and directed him to comply with bond conditions. Adams told the court he wanted to "put this behind me" and that he had missed appointments in part for job interviews and medical care.
The court accepted no-contest or guilty pleas and imposed sentences in a series of other matters:
- Cedric Lee Clark (2026CR00308) pleaded no contest to loitering/prowling after officers found him on property at 483 Valley Hill Road on Dec. 29, 2025. The court sentenced Clark to 12 months with 30 days to serve (credit for time served) and suspended the balance on condition he not return to 483 Valley Hill Road, Riverdale, Georgia.
- Eric Critchlow (2026CR00179) pleaded guilty to family-violence battery after officers responded to a disturbance at the Economy Hotel (241 Falcon Drive) and reported injuries to a 3-year-old child. The state described welts and facial injury on the child; the court accepted the negotiated plea and sentenced Critchlow to 12 months with 30 days to serve (credit for time served), ordered 12 hours of anger-management, a parenting class, 50 hours of community service, and no contact with the child pending further court review. Judge Hayward said, "Don't make it worse by beating her with a belt," addressing the defendant directly.
- Anna Osorio (2026CR00310) proceeded with a Spanish interpreter and entered a no-contest plea on the licensing charge; the court accepted the plea and sentenced Osorio to 12 months with 10 days to serve (credit for time served), with the balance suspended so long as she has no new violations.
- A defendant identified as Vincent (2026CR00181) pleaded no contest to criminal trespass and public drunkenness after officers observed intoxication at MARTA property; the court imposed 12 months with 40 days to serve (credit for time served) and ordered the defendant not to return to any MARTA premises.
- Joseph Chitran Walsh entered guilty pleas in two theft cases (2026CR00153 and 2026CR00745) tied to JJ's Produce/Farmer's Market on Forest Parkway in late December 2025. The court accepted negotiated pleas and sentenced Walsh to concurrent 12-month terms with 33 days to serve (credit for time served), required an anti-theft course, and ordered that he not return to the incident location. Walsh told the court his "drug addiction" contributed to his conduct; Judge Hayward encouraged him to seek treatment.
- Lorenzo Cornelius Webb (2026CR00305) pleaded guilty to family-violence battery stemming from an incident at a hotel on Tara Boulevard. The court accepted the plea and sentenced Webb to 12 months with 39 days to serve (credit for time served), assessed a $300 fine (about $444 with surcharges), imposed 40 hours of community service, required enrollment in a family-violence intervention program, and ordered no contact with the victim, Jasmine Parks.
- Michael Jerome Washington (2026CR00184) pleaded guilty to criminal trespass at the Chevron Food Mart, 6629 Mount Zion Boulevard, where he had previously been trespassed. The court sentenced Washington to 12 months with 60 days to serve (credit for time served) and ordered him not to return to the Chevron location in Morrow, Georgia.
Throughout the calendar the judge reminded defendants about the consequences of violating conditions, encouraged participation in treatment and support programs, and noted a pending mental-health evaluation (MHE) for one defendant that will affect further proceedings. The court concluded after addressing paperwork and minor technical issues.
Quoted in court: defendant Eddie Conrad Adams said he "really wanna just put this behind me," and Judge Hayward warned Critchlow, "Don't make it worse by beating her with a belt."
