The Bulloch County Planning & Zoning Board voted to recommend approval of a sketch plan to divide 33.03 acres on Red Denmark Road into five residential lots.
Mary, the planning presenter, said the property sits in South Bulloch County in the Black Creek character area and that staff recommended approval of the sketch plan. Jim (Jim Anderson), a local surveyor representing the applicant (Howard Keith Meter Sr.), explained that four of the lots would be served by a private road allowed by ordinance and that one lot (9.4 acres) would have direct access to Red Denmark Road. All proposed lots would exceed five acres.
The board moved, seconded and approved the sketch plan; the recommendation will be forwarded to the Bulloch County commissioners for a final decision on Feb. 3 at 5:30 p.m.
At the end of the meeting the board nominated Miss Reiner to serve as secretary; the board voted to keep existing officers with the addition of Miss Reiner as secretary, and then adjourned.
