UAE tells U.N. Iran occupies three islands, urges legal resolution

The speaker also emphasized that, despite the dispute, the UAE seeks to maintain "good relationships and close cooperation" with Iran, but said the islands "will remain a contentious issue until a good peaceful solution is reached in line with international law and good neighborliness."
