Council approves multiple rezoning ordinances; summary of votes
Summary
The council read by title and approved four ordinances involving annexations and rezonings (26-2108, 26-2109, 26-2106, 26-2107). Each ordinance was read by title and carried on roll-call votes at the Feb. 3 meeting.
At the Feb. 3 meeting the Meridian City Council read by title and approved multiple land-use ordinances.
Ordinance 26-2108: Rezoned approximately 3.04 acres from LO to R15 (Norton's rezoning). Motion moved and approved by roll call.
Ordinance 26-2109: Annexed Lot 5, Block 2 of Jewell Subdivision and rezoned roughly 1.01 acres from R1 to R2; motion moved and approved by roll call.
Ordinance 26-2106: Annexed and rezoned approximately 143.09 acres into multiple zoning districts (R4, R8, TNR, CN) as depicted in the exhibit; motion moved and approved by roll call.
Ordinance 26-2107: Annexed and rezoned approximately 40.84 acres from RUT to RA; motion moved and approved by roll call.
Each ordinance was presented by title, received a motion and second, and carried on roll-call votes as recorded in the meeting minutes.
