The consent agenda (D1–D5) was adopted by unanimous voice vote. The board approved invoices totaling $3,271,010 for the period 11/21/2025–12/18/2025 and accepted the treasurer’s report for November after presentations from district fiscal staff. The student activities report for November (balance $2,272,776; revenues $269,257; expenditures $536,600) was also approved unanimously.
On the tax levy, administration read the recommended 2025 levy resolution and the board adopted the 2025 operating levy as presented; the treasurer noted the operating levy is projected to increase 4.57% with existing taxpayers exposed only to CPI-based growth and additional revenue coming from new construction.
In procurement actions, the board approved purchasing 1,750 Lenovo Gen 5 laptops from CDW for a total of $731,290 to outfit the incoming freshmen class; technology staff highlighted the larger screen, stylus storage and a 4+ year warranty as key reasons for recommending Lenovo.
The board also approved multiple life‑safety and capital purchasing actions related to an HVAC upgrade: awarding the mechanical upgrades bid, authorizing cooperative purchase of mechanical equipment via Omnia (Thermo Systems proposal) and approving associated procurement steps. The life‑safety HVAC bid was approved with five ayes and one abstention; the clerk recorded the roll‑call votes and declared the motion passed.
All other motions on the consent and procurement agenda passed unanimously unless noted.
