Commission approves addendum to expand regional infrastructure coalition

Commissioners voted Feb. 3 to approve a second addendum to an interlocal cooperative agreement that would add Sanpete County to the existing multi-county infrastructure coalition and to approve a name change to reflect the expanded membership.
Staff explained the addendum is a simple modification to the 2016 agreement used to incorporate the joining county. The coalition, originally formed by six counties and later expanded, will include Sanpete if member legislative bodies approve the addendum. The county's approval is an enabling step so the addendum can be considered by the coalition before its Feb. 12 meeting.
A motion to approve the addendum and new coalition name was made, seconded and carried by voice vote.
