Commissioners asked applicants how they learned about the program; answers included online notices, word-of-mouth from coworkers and realtors. Dana Shea said she found the program online and learned about similar state programs before selecting Hammond; she also mentioned her realtor Eric Lopez.
Commissioner Myricks moved to approve conditional forgivable loans for the four applicants and Commissioner Kubacki seconded. The commission approved the motion unanimously, 5-0. Staff invited the approved applicants to meet with staff to finalize loan conditions and next steps.
