The Sherburne County Board approved two land-use plats on Feb. 3: the preliminary and final simple plat of Creekside Woods and the preliminary and final simple plat of Creekside Woods 2. Both plats are one-lot submissions presented as coming from the same property and recommended by the Saint Francis River Planning Commission with conditions.
Planning presenter Matt Agrimson described the Creekside Woods plat as a one-lot plat on roughly 71 acres in San Diego Township in the Transitional River District; the planning commission recommended approval with three conditions. The board moved and approved the plat by voice vote.
For Creekside Woods 2, Agrimson said the planning commission recommended approval with five conditions and noted a typographical error in condition 4 (parcel ID beginning "25" should read "45"). The board approved the amended conditions and the plat by voice vote.
Why it matters: These approvals clear the preliminary and final simple plat steps for two one-lot developments on property reviewed by the planning commission. The transcript records that the planning commission imposed conditions; the board approved those conditions as presented.
What’s next: Staff and applicants will complete the conditions listed in the planning commission report and record the plats as required.
