Miss Underhill, a Board of Education representative, briefed commissioners on Dixon Countys second-quarter school-fund financial reports covering July 1 through Dec. 31.
Underhill said general purpose revenues were at 52% of budget while expenditures were at 42%. She reported federal projects revenues at 35% and expenditures at 37%, noting the federal projects fund operates on a reimbursable basis and the county must spend first and then request reimbursement. "The 1403 is a school nutrition fund, revenues are at 33% and expenditures are at 52% and the USDA is typically about two months behind on our revenues," Underhill said.
The commission moved the school-fund reports to the regular session consent agenda for formal acceptance; the motion was seconded and approved by voice vote. No further budget adjustments or formal appropriations were adopted during the work session.
