On Feb. 3, 2026 the Snoqualmie Finance & Administration Committee agreed to send agenda bill AB25-0106 back to city administration for revision instead of forwarding it to the full council.
The ordinance in question, presented as AB25-0106, would amend portions of the Snoqualmie municipal code to align the code with the city’s financial management policy. Mayor Mayhew told the committee the measure is a follow-up from changes discussed late last year and that staff "have discovered that there are ... some errors in what we've sent you," and requested a redlined, revised version before any council action.
Mayor Mayhew said some items in the current draft are changes he "would not ask you to do," and asked the committee to refer the ordinance back so administration can remove clerical errors and propose adjustments. Council member Washington confirmed the intended path: revisions from the mayor and staff will return to the Finance & Administration Committee for review and then, if appropriate, proceed to the full council.
Chair Johnson and council members agreed to remove AB25-0106 from the upcoming council agenda while administration prepares the corrected materials, including a redline that highlights changes from the prior draft. No formal vote tally was recorded in the committee transcript; the referral and removal were handled by consensus during agenda review.
The next procedural step, as described in the meeting, is for administration to produce a redlined revision and return it to F&A for consideration before any council-level action.
