- Acceptance of a National Park Service CLG grant for $9,815 (with a $3,000 local match) to fund public education on ARB guidelines and online tools; council authorized the grant acceptance.
- Public safety procurements: council authorized a Lifepak 35 cardiac monitor purchase ($462,479.05, Sourcewell cooperative, includes $56,000 trade‑in), a Bauer Unicus 4i SCBA cascade system ($141,565), and a fully outfitted battalion chief command vehicle ($134,722). Public Works also received approval to buy a CAT 308CR mini excavator ($155,361.31).
- Budget amendment (Resolution 24‑017) to appropriate grants that include $163,350 for employment training and $12,500 for fatherhood support programs, plus the NPS grant and a $50,000 Brownfields award.
