Williamsburg — The Williamsburg City Council met Jan. 9 for routine business. Council approved the legislative-briefing and work-session minutes from Dec. 9 and the business-meeting minutes from Dec. 12 (one abstention), received a monthly financial report from Ms. Damron, and heard departmental operating updates on emergency notifications and winter-storm preparations. Staff presented a final implementation review of the 2018 Downtown Vibrancy Study and asked council to identify recommendations to carry into the comprehensive-plan update. The meeting adjourned following council commentary.
