The board approved a permit for Porch Fest, presented by the West Haven Foundation, for Sept. 21 at Magley Green Park. Mark McCutcheon, speaking on behalf of the West Haven Foundation, told the board, "This is an event that occurs annually and has for some time, and the application is complete." Staff recommended approval and the board voted yes.
The board also approved the Franklin Noon Rotary Club's third annual "Hogball" fundraiser at Eastern Flank Battlefield Park on Sept. 14.
