Staff reported that inspections and the application are complete except for the final CO and recommended conditional approval. Attorney Tucker Herndon said the outstanding issue is the CO and that the applicant will supply the document; owner Theresa Scotto described Paleto’s operations and said servers are TABC-certified and staff enforce ID checks and do not allow children at the bar.
Board members expressed confidence in the applicant’s experience and voted to approve the permit contingent on receipt of the final CO (Alderman Barnhill yes; Alderman Caesar yes; Chair yes). The board emphasized adherence to local alcohol-service rules and the requirement that the CO be submitted before a permanent permit is issued.
