Metropore Chamber reviews programs, membership growth to council

Sally Aldridge, president of the Metropore Chamber of Commerce, presented the chamberannual update to the Northlake Town Council on June 12, outlining membership, programs and outreach metrics. Aldridge said Haslet will rejoin the chamber, returning its membership to seven communities, and described signature programs including quarterly luncheons, an advanced leadership program and a women-in-business series.
Aldridge noted the chamberserves organizations ranging from Fortune 500 companies to small nonprofits. She presented the chamberbusiness and residential relocation guide, the annual report and described a private member-use building in Roanoke that houses chamber offices and leasable offices for small businesses. Aldridge thanked large investors and the town of Northlake for ongoing support.
Council members asked no substantive follow-ups, and Aldridge invited the council to review the packet materials she left with staff. The presentation was informational; no council action was taken.
