The solicitor also called attention to a set of 16 resolutions on the next agenda and singled out Resolution No. 11, which would allow tax-assessment sales normally done in person to take place online for a one-year trial in 2026. "This is a one year program, but we're gonna try it for 2026 to see how it works," the solicitor said, noting other counties have implemented online auctions and reported that GRAMA worked well for them.
The solicitor closed by requesting an executive session to discuss personnel matters; the board then moved to convene the closed meeting. No formal votes, contract awards or financial details were disclosed in the public session.
