Planning and Zoning recommended approval unanimously after a public hearing, and the council approved the two‑building site plan by unanimous vote.
Separately, staff presented a rezoning application to change one acre near the Northwest Regional Airport from rural residential to industrial (consistent with the town’s future land‑use map). The applicant said the land would support wholesale automotive uses and storage; one resident spoke in favor and the council approved the rezoning by a 7‑0 vote.
After a closed executive session, council authorized the town manager to negotiate and execute a development agreement with Denton Cross Timbers Partners LLC (the Trammell Crow property) and approved related resolution language on the consent of the manager to complete terms.
Next steps: developers will proceed to permitting consistent with site plan conditions; staff will execute the development agreement per council authorization.
