Planning commission roundup: minutes approved; comprehensive-plan draft expected in December

The Kettering Planning Commission opened its Nov. 3, 2025 meeting, approved the minutes of Sept. 15, 2025, and handled new business including a public hearing and approval of a conditional-use permit for 3520 Wilmington Pike (case PCD-25-013).
City planner Ryan Holmesy told the commission the draft comprehensive plan is expected in early December; the consultant will present to planning commission and city council, possibly in a joint work session. Commissioners asked whether the consultant presentation would be scheduled during a regular planning commission meeting or a separate session; staff said that has not been finalized and the commission will be notified.
A commission member reminded attendees that Nov. 4 is Election Day (polls open 6:30 a.m. to 7:30 p.m.). The chair adjourned the meeting at 7:24 p.m.
The meeting included routine procedural items: no plans required signatures that evening and staff had no other business beyond the comprehensive-plan timing.
