Additional consent items included purchase orders for traffic-signal intersection boring ($79,151.81), fertilizer and herbicide for the city golf course ($18,052.87), EMS reporting software renewal ($90,375), and a major software licensing renewal with SHI International for Microsoft products ($412,750.24). The police/municipal enforcement fleet purchase was listed (Ford Bronco SUVs), and the council noted funds transfers for a cruise terminal park and deck repair project ($200,000) and other capital projects.
Council members asked clarifying questions about cruise terminal deck repairs; a city official described cracking and saltwater-related joint issues typical of prefabricated structures and the maintenance needed. Several items were recommended for approval to the applicable boards as part of the consent process.
