The Kettering Planning Commission on Jan. 12 voted to appoint officers for 2026 and approved three sets of prior meeting minutes.
A commissioner moved the slate naming Ray Waskey as chair, Don Rathman as vice chair, Ken Lackey as secretary and Troy Urbis as assistant secretary. The motion was seconded; a roll call was taken and the members recorded affirmative votes, and the motion passed.
Separately, commissioners moved and seconded approval of minutes for Nov. 3, Nov. 17 and Dec. 15, 2025. A roll call recorded unanimous 'yes' votes and the minutes were approved.
No public comment was recorded on either procedural item. The commission then shifted to new business, where staff and consultants presented a draft comprehensive plan.
