Williamson County approves appointments, school HVAC emergency and several budget amendments

- A resolution to lower the speed limit on the Arno Road segment between College Grove Road and Meeks Road (amendment specifying the segment adopted first), and the amended resolution passed unanimously.
- A late‑file resolution to establish a five‑member Zoning Ordinance Revision Steering Committee to translate the recently adopted comprehensive land use plan into updated zoning ordinances; membership will include two county commissioners, two mayoral appointees and one planning commission representative, and the committee will return recommendations to the commission following public meetings and planning commission review. The resolution passed unanimously.
The chair confirmed copies of reports and supporting materials will be provided to commissioners. The commission also voted to move the November meeting off the Veterans Day holiday to Tuesday, Nov. 13, by unanimous vote. The meeting adjourned after those items.
