The Pearland Planning & Zoning Commission on Monday voted 7–0 to recommend approval of a plan‑development zoning change (ZON2025‑0517) that would allow a multifamily development of up to 315 units on a roughly 15.0372‑acre site south of Broadway and west of Manville Road along Magnolia Parkway.
Staff planner Patrick Baron told commissioners that the applicant seeks to rezone the parcel from Office & Professional to a Plan Development with a multifamily base zoning to accommodate three residential buildings, a clubhouse, a pool, a dog park and a pocket park. Baron said staff found the proposal consistent with the city's future land‑use plan and that the request met the PD approval criteria; staff recommended approval.
